PROGRAM – In April club member Bruce Clark, K0YW, led an EME expedition to Hawaii. This put Hawaii on the EME DX and WAS maps. Operation was on 1296 and 2304 Mhz with the call KH7X. Bruce with tell us all about undertaking such a project. It will be an interesting program. (Also see August QST, page 84.)

DUES – Dues for the 2007-2008 club year are $25 which includes all licensed family members living at the same address. Your treasurer will be ready to collect dues at future club meetings or mail them to the PO box above. Checks are preferred and may be made payable to DARC. To date we have dues from 38 members. Thanks!

AUGUST PROGRAM - Thanks to Stanna and Tom Galbraith for telling and showing us their survival and rescue after their catamaran was blown over in the Gulf of Mexico last April. It was an exciting story even though we knew the outcome.
